Fashion Week may be a long six weeks away but the must-attend events have arrived early this summer. From Berlin to Brooklyn and back home in Knightsbridge, we bring you 5 fashion events to add some culture, music, career inspiration and sunshine to the second half of your summer.
Bread & Butter Festival
B&&B is a festival of style and culture based in Berlin, Germany, created by Zalando, Europe’s largest online fashion retailer. The inclusive festival, where nobody is a VIP, will play host to three days of fashion shows, brand labs, music and food. The theme for 2017’s edition is BOLD and that’s what you’ll need to be when you ask your boss to expense the €20 tickets.

It’s time to cash in those air miles and head over the pond to New York this September. ’29 Rooms’ is back! Refinery 29’s funhouse of style, culture, and technology. It’s basically the most child-like fun an adult can have and get away with. If it’s half as good as the website alone, then this event is one not to be missed!

Balenciaga @ The V&A
Closer to home, the V&A amazes and inspires once again with its latest exhibit, Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion.
This exhibition examines the work and legacy of Cristobal Balenciaga, with over 100 pieces crafted by ‘the master’ of couture, his protegees and contemporary fashion designers. Everyone’s Instagramming that huge pink gown and we want in on the insta-action too. *books tickets*

There’s no denying it, Scandi girls have had a firm grip on the street style for more seasons than we can count. The talent that pounds the pavements is already more than we can handle, not quite sure if my heart (or bank account) can deal with what will don the runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
